Parts are vital to continuous in-service operation of any vehicle, especially emergency vehicles. At Spartan we maintain thousands of dollars in repair/replacement parts. Even a part as small as a screw can render a vehicle out-of-service. If a part is not in our stock or inventory we can have the part direct shipped to you within 24 to 48 hours from the manufacturer. This applies to both "warranty" and "non-warranty" parts. In cases of special or fabricated parts the time duration may be longer. In 95% of the cases parts are readily available from Spartan, Pierce or a respective supplier.
Jay Hammett - Parts ManagerJay has been with Spartan since 2002. He is responsible for all parts ordering, receiving and shipping both warranty and non-warranty. Jay is also a member of the North Spartanburg Fire Department.
Jay is married to Brenda and they have two children (Ericka and Jared) and reside in Spartanburg. Jay's hobbies include his family, camping, golf, fishing and the USC "Gamecocks".
Jay has attended and successfully completed many training courses with Pierce and other manufacturers as to parts related issues.
Priscilla Vann - Office Manager
Priscilla joined Spartan in 1988. As Office Manager, she handles the day-to-day duties involved with bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, insurance, etc. She also assists in parts and service issues, ordering and scheduling.
She and her husband Tim have two children and reside in Spartanburg. Priscilla stays busy with her children's activities during her spare time.
